Nationally recognized for her litigation skills and experience, Elizabeth’s practice focuses on civil litigation, insurance defense, product liability, and educational law. She specializes in defending employment, civil rights, and general tort claims against governmental and private entities.
Elizabeth has successfully obtained jury verdicts as well as summary judgment or dismissal on a wide variety of legal arguments and has argued cases before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court, as well as at the trial court level. Prior to joining Sturgill Turner, Elizabeth was a litigation partner at a regional defense firm, with a focus on insurance and liability defense, and education law.

Elizabeth is actively involved in efforts to educate and inform fellow attorneys and elevate the legal profession, serving as Chair-Elect of the Kentucky Bar Association Education Law Section. She also serves on the Board of the Lexington Philharmonic.
