Stanley Sworn In as Chair of KBA Young Lawyers Division
Christine Stanley and her fellow Kentucky Bar Association Board of Governors members were sworn in at the KBA Convention on June 11, 2026.
Sturgill Turner attorney Christine L. Stanley has been sworn in as Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division for 2026–27, assuming her leadership role on the KBA Board of Governors following the KBA Annual Convention on June 11, 2026.
A dedicated leader within the YLD and the legal community, Christine has served the division since her election as an At-Large Representative in 2017. Over the years, she has built a strong record of service to the KBA and has been recognized with the KBA Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year Award and the KBA Young Lawyer Service to Community Award.
As Chair, Christine is especially focused on mentoring and supporting young lawyers as they build their careers, while continuing the YLD’s work to strengthen the profession and serve communities across Kentucky. Her leadership reflects a longstanding commitment to helping the next generation of attorneys grow, connect, and thrive.
“I’m honored to serve as Chair of the YLD and to work alongside young lawyers across Kentucky as we find meaningful ways to contribute to the Bar, support one another, and strengthen our profession,” Christine said.
