Barker & Jones admitted to the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals

Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney, PLLC is pleased to announce that Lexington mediators Stephen L. Barker and Ernest H. “Hank” Jones, II have been invited to join the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. Membership is by invitation only and limited to attorney mediators and arbitrators who have proven experience in the field. All Academy members have been thoroughly reviewed and found to meet stringent practice criteria.

Steve Barker is a seasoned mediator who has mediated a wide variety of employment and business disputes, as well as domestic relations cases. With four decades of litigation experience in the areas of employment law and education law, Steve was named Lexington’s 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2016 Employment “Lawyer of the Year.” Steve is also an experienced arbitrator capable of conducting binding arbitration, either as a sole arbiter or as part of an arbitration panel.

Hank Jones mediates cases involving tort claims, soft tissue injuries, motor vehicle injuries, and slip and fall accidents. A litigator for more than 40 years, his practice focuses on insurance defense, bad-faith, and personal injury claims. In 2014, Hank was named Lexington’s Insurance Law “Lawyer of the Year.”
