Sarah Charles Wright Admitted to U.S. Supreme Court

STBM Partner, Sarah Charles Wright, was admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court on October 31, 2005. On this date, Ms. Wright was sworn in for admission before the Court and attended Oral Argument in Central Virginia Community College, et al. v. Bernard Katz, Liquidating Supervisor for Wallace’s Bookstores, Inc., a case in which she has served as local counsel for the Petitioner since March 2003.
Ms. Wright is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Sarah Charles graduated from the University of Kentucky with honors with a B.A. in Psychology and from the University of Louisville School of Law.
She has a wide range of experience in health care law, business and corporate law, and in commercial, employment and bankruptcy litigation. One of the first mediators trained by the Mediation Center of Central Kentucky in 1992, Sarah Charles became certified in 1994. Over the last eleven years, she has had extensive experience mediating personal injury employment, construction, commercial, real estate and corporate disputes.
