On March 30-31, 2006, Tammy Meade attended a two-day seminar in Chicago, Illinois, which focused on issues surrounding the trucking industry. Topics covered included: risks and concerns facing the trucking industry, new trucking technologies in the industry, preservation of electronic evidence, training and safety of drivers, driver discipline, governmental regulations, broker liability and casualty insurance. The seminar was presented by the Trucking Law Section of the Defense Research Institute.
