On September 7-8, 2006, Pat Moloney, Doug Stephan and Peter Cassidy attended a two-day seminar in Chicago, Illinois, which focused on nursing home litigation. The seminar focused on recent developments in long-term care litigation, product and premises liability issues in the contest of nursing home and/or assisted living facility care, slip and fall cases, strategies for litigation, handling multi-plaintiff class action and False Claims Act litigation and insurance coverage issues in nursing home claims. The seminar was presented by the Nursing Home Litigation Section of the Defense Research Institute.
