DeSimone Appointed to Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Board

Andrew DeSimone has been appointed to the board of directors of the Bluegrass Crime Stoppers.

The Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is an organization that helps fight crime by offering rewards to anonymous callers who provide tips regarding crimes that have occurred in the area. The organization is trying to implement new 21st century technologies in the aid of crime. They have a new text-based anonymous tip software, as well as an anonymous e-mail web-based software to allow people to provide their tips on criminals over a variety of networks. Crime Stoppers engages in two main fundraising events--a golf tournament in June and a shootout at the police shooting range in October.
