Doug Stephan has many years of experience successfully defending long term care and nursing home care givers. This includes defense of individual care givers, administrators and facilities in matters pursued by the Kentucky Attorney General Office of Inspector General, state administrative investigations and state surveys as well as civil litigation throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He has been successful in obtaining summary disposition and resolution in multiple courts on claims against long-term care facilities, and had facilitated hundreds of successful mediations and jury trials for health care, and other institutional clients, throughout Kentucky.
Doug represents the insureds of major insurance providers, defends insurance providers as a named party in uninsured, underinsured, PIP and extra-contractual claims and provides policy coverage analysis.
