BACKGROUND: Susan is a native of Amarillo, Texas. She retired as a Commander in the U.S. Navy (Nurse Corps) after serving twenty years in such places as Western Australia; Newport, Rhode Island; Orlando, Florida; and Charleston, South Carolina. Having attended the University of Kentucky as a graduate student, she returned to Lexington, Kentucky, after retirement, married, and was employed for many years as a Nurse-Midwife. She joined the firm as a nurse paralegal in 2002, and works primarily with Donald P. Moloney, II and J. Peter Cassidy, III in the areas of Long-Term Care and Medical Malpractice Defense. She also assists other attorneys in the firm in the area of Healthcare Law.
