BACKGROUND: Melissa is a native of Stamping Ground in Scott County, Kentucky. She began her legal career in 1987 when she took a position with Robert L. Reeves and Edsel Rawlings as a legal secretary. She later decided to attend Midway College to obtain her Paralegal degree. Melissa began her career as a paralegal in 1993 and joined Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney, PLLC in 2008. She primarily assists Phillip M. Moloney, Ernest H. Jones, II, Edmund J. Benson and Andrew DeSimone in the areas of medical malpractice, construction and real estate litigation and insurance defense.
