BACKGROUND: Joani is a native of Maysville, Kentucky. She attended both Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. She has been employed with the firm since 1988. She works as a paralegal primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy Litigation and Creditor Representation, Wills, Trusts and Estates, Business and Corporate Law, Real Estate Law and Automobile Dealer Law, assisting many of the attorneys in the firm in these areas including Gardner L. Turner, Stephen L. Barker, Kevin G. Henry and Phillip M. Moloney.
