BACKGROUND: Peter grew up in Lexington and has been living in Kentucky continuously since 1997. He attended high school in Massachusetts and college in Tennessee, where he studied anthropology and sociology. After working as an archaeologist in the Ohio River Valley and as a legal assistant in New York City, Peter decided to return to Lexington to attend law school. He spent three years working in Frankfort for the Kentucky General Assembly as a legislative analyst with the House, Senate, and Interim Joint Committees on Judiciary before joining Sturgill, Turner, Barker & Moloney. Peter and his wife, Laurel, are raising their daughters, Eva Pace and Emery, while renovating their historic home in downtown Lexington.
