PROFESSIONAL: Bryan is a member of the Federal Bar Association and currently serves as President of the Kentucky Chapter. He also is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the Kentucky Defense Counsel.
Bryan regularly is invited to speak at conferences and seminars including the 2007 Kentucky Bar Association Convention, the Kentucky Chiefs of Police Association, the Kentucky League of Cities and the 2007 Bourbon County High School Commencement.
He has participated in over 20 reported appellate cases and is a published author including an article published in For the Defense, June 2007, "Reining In Mayberry's Red-light District."
BACKGROUND: Bryan's wife, Candy, has taught art and humanities in the Bourbon County School System for 13 years and operates an art studio in Paris. Bryan and Candy live in Paris with their three children Christian, Bailee and Luke.
Bryan and Candy are active in the Fayette and Bourbon County communities. Bryan has served on the Board of Directors of the Hopewell Museum, the Hospital Hospitality House of Lexington (Past President), and the Bourbon County Alumni Association (Past President). He is also a member of the Downtown Lexington Corporation Parking and Transportation Committee, Historic Paris-Bourbon County, the Bourbon County Board of Education Long-Range Planning Team and has been appointed by the Bourbon County Fiscal Court as a Commissioner of the Bourbon County Boys' Fund, a charitable fund providing scholarship monies to Bourbon County residents. Bryan and Candy are also active at the First Baptist Church in Paris.
